About Lesch Designs

Lesch Designs specializes in the restoration and upholstery of interiors and trim for European, antique, and classic automobiles, fine furniture, and antiques; custom designing show car interiors and tops; and handcrafting or reproducing vintage auto interior and trim parts that are unavailable, including metal frames for tops and other metal trim parts.  Vintage auto interiors are reproduced to reflect the original designs.  Lesch Designs car interior restorations for a Porsche 356A Speedster, 1925 Austro-Daimler, and 1953 Porsche 356 Roadster were featured in 911 & Porsche World Number 102, Auto Week March 20, 2006, and Excellence December 2006, respectively.  Pictures of the 1953 Porsche 356 Roadster can be seen on this website.

As the sole craftsman of all auto interior and furniture upholstery at Lesch Designs, it is important to me that each job reflects the highest quality of workmanship.  I learned this trade in my father's upholstery shop in Michigan and have been refining my craft ever since.

While I specialize in European, vintage, and sports cars, I provide auto upholstery and trim for all makes and models as well as furniture upholstery.  I have a workshop at home and a small workshop in town.  Please contact me by phone or e-mail, and I will be glad to discuss your upholstery or restoration project.  Thank you.
